Your plane crashes violently into the silent, icy waters of the Eastern Carpathians. Waking up on a patch of land in the middle of a lake, you find yourself trapped on an island where time stopped centuries ago. All around you: a mist-shrouded lake, an intact yet eerily empty church, and an abandoned village. There are no living souls here, but every rustle seems like heavy breathing, and whispers appear to emanate from the very earth.

VIY is a solo-developed first-person horror game, crafted in the spirit of iconic Outlast-style survival experiences. It thrusts you into the role of a completely helpless protagonist. With no weapons and no ability to fight back, your survival depends entirely on your instinct for stealth, your ability to run, and your quick thinking while navigating a hostile.
